There are two kinds of people in this world:

• Those who are going through tough times and,

• Thos who are going to go through tough times in the future.

The good news is that we can have hope. 

1. We can have hope based upon God's "track record." We cansee how He has interverened in people's lives in the past. We can see how God has intervened in our own livs. We can trust in God because of His "track record."

2. We can have hope based upon who God is. When you get to know Him, you know that He is a God who cares about us profoundly. There is real depth to His love. He loves us and He is loyal to His convenant with us. It is God's character, it's a part of who He is. 

3. We can have hope because we know that if we walk with the Lord while we live here, there is nothing that can separate us from His love. There will some a day for all of us when we go to sleep in this life, and we will awaken looking at the face of our Lord.
